MALAYAKU derived from word Malaya-ku (malaya-my) means ‘My Malaya’ in Malay language, the mother tongue of the civilize people living in Malaya back since 60,000 years ago. Believe it or not. That was the truth.

And it means more to the people who born and raised in Malaya. The culture we adapt, the food we eat, the air we breath, the monsoon we been through, the herbs, the ancient medicine, the martial arts (silat) and so much more, were the true identity of being a Malaya. Thus one shall not say he’s a Malaya (Malaysian) if he can’t speak Malay and/or knows all that have been mentioned just now.

In Malaya, the people will respect you first. Therefore don’t ever take the advantage over the people LOVE AND WARM WELCOME towards you. Whereas they shall burst out and ‘burn’ you down. Search your dictionary for word ‘Amuk’ or ‘Running Amuk’ to understand what this means. Perhaps because there is so much LOVE in the Malay’s heart. And therefore not to break their heart. lol!

Sharing our passion together and the love of MALAYA, We founded MALAYAKU CLOTHING COMPANY in Sept. 2014. We started the clothing line in our home in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia.
